Are you interested in starting your own business in the extractive sector? This is your opportunity to get started developing your own business plan with real-world examples and mentoring! Industry experts share their knowledge, expertise and advice as guest speakers throughout the course.
Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) for Local Economic Development in the Extractive Sector, aims to provide practical business/entrepreneurial skills for those looking to enter or expand their presence in the mining and petroleum supply chains. The focus is on understanding the context of business, finance, marketing and operations for these SMEs, with an emphasis on the local community. Learn to integrate SMEs into the supply chain at any phase of the mine life cycle including exploration, development, production, and reclamation. Guest Speakers include:
