DETAILS: This bursary is available to students who are enrolled in the 2nd year of the Environment Natural Resource Technology Program. Applicants must be residents of the Northwest Territories. First Nations, Inuit or Metis students will be given priority. Preference will be given to applicants who have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% in their first year of the program. Applicants who can clearly demonstrate their commitment to the field of Environmental and Natural Resource through involvement in related volunteer and/or paid work and/or hobbies are also preferred.
Applicants must submit:
- a 150-250 word letter of interest describing why you have chosen the field of Environment and Natural Resources Technology as your area of study, your past or current involvement in this field and what you have done to demonstrate your commitment to this area
- where possible, a reference letter from an employer (paid or voluntary), instructor, or trainer
- a completed application form
- a transcript showing completion of 1st year ENRTP
- **Bursary/Scholarship’s payable to a student will be initially applied to cover, if any, outstanding amounts due to their account**
