Community Learning Centres
Taking a course at a Community Learning Centre is a great place to start your education journey with Aurora College. No matter what your previous education or your future goals, the College is here to support you. Whatever your reason for attending, we welcome you to your local Community Learning Centre.
There are 19 Community Learning Centres across the Northwest Territories delivering a wide range of programming to local residents. Programming is different in each community as the needs of individual communities differ. Programs are delivered by Community Adult Educators who are committed to the success of students along with visiting instructors who deliver specialized training and workshops right in your community.
Many NWT learners begin their educational journey at a Community Learning Centre, on the way to achieving their career, educational and personal goals. Please click on your community’s name below and feel free to call the Community Adult Educator in your community to learn more.
Aurora College is transforming into a polytechnic university and the Community Learning Centres will continue to deliver programs and training for residents in communities across the north.
