Course description:
The purpose of this course is to emphasize field skills and laboratory techniques for obtaining information used to support decisions in wildlife management. Topics include experiment design, permitting, specimen capture and evaluation, necropsy, habitat use, population abundance and distribution. Field camps and trips will permit the practical application of some of the techniques discussed in the course.
