Course description:
In this course, students begin to develop skills in defining management problems and examining decisions and judgments involved in wildlife management. Students are introduced to wildlife population status and trend analyses and will investigate a variety of wildlife philosophies and perspectives, including Traditional Knowledge, along with alternative wildlife management strategies. Current management problems and programs are also reviewed for a variety of populations.
