Course description:

This course examines mental wellness, mental health challenges, and issues of addiction. Emphasis is on the Community Health Representative’s (CHR) role in promoting mental health and creating awareness to decrease the stigma of mental health challenges. Students will identify and discuss factors that influence mental health, with the focus on northern people.
