Course description:

This course is most appropriate for students who are in their first year of study. It offers an introduction to postsecondary education at an institution of higher learning, an explanation of the various methods of inquiry employed therein, and demonstrations of the study skills and learning strategies that are required for academic success. Students will be encouraged and assisted to apply the information presented in this course to other courses that they are completing concurrently.
