Course description:

This course introduces students to the history and philosophies of the Early Childhood Care and Learning field, the diversity of programs and services, and the attitudes and responsibilities of the Early Childhood Educator. The legal, political, economic and social contexts of ECCL are examined as well as a variety of theoretical and practical programs and learning concepts for young children, educators and families.
