Course description:
This course provides an introduction to developmental psychology, exploring the different stages of human life (Prenatal, Infancy, Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood), and the biological, psychological and social changes occurring in individuals during them. Topics include theories of development, genetics and development, birth and the neonate, cognitive and brain development, early experience, attachment, motor and language development, social/emotional development, sex role and moral development, and aging.
