This course is an introduction to the normal growth and development of adults. The influence of various factors and health determinants of each stage will be discussed. Traditional knowledge, historical and cultural perspectives, values, and beliefs that support healthy growth and development will be examined. Personal and cultural beliefs and attitudes surrounding death and dying will be explored.
