Students explore the anatomical and physiological details of body systems, with applications appropriate to nursing practice. Body systems addressed in this course are listed in site specific course outlines, with remaining body systems addressed in Human Anatomy and Physiology for Nursing 2. Concepts explored include cytology, basic biochemistry, anatomy and function of organ systems. Attention is given to the integrated homeostatic balance of the body.
