Course description:

The Field Safety and Preventative Maintenance course will familiarize students with examples of safety systems used by industry.  It will also review the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of small gas engine powered equipment commonly used in resource management. The course will include care and maintenance of camping equipment used by the program and includes participation in a multi-day winter field camp.
