Course description:

This introductory course provides students with hands-on learning opportunities to explore and engage with Indigenous culture and traditional ways of life through age-appropriate activities. Students will participate in Indigenous experiences, interact with local Elders and Knowledge Holders, and promote the revitalization of Indigenous languages and cultures, all within the context of early learning and childcare. Emphasis is placed on understanding the foundations of Indigenous knowledge and establishing initial connections with local communities and schools.
