Course description:

This course builds on the learner’s knowledge of chemistry at an advanced (grade 12) level. The major themes are change, energy, equilibrium, diversity, and systems. The topics of study are: thermochemical changes, electrochemical changes, chemical changes of organic compounds and chemical equilibrium focusing on acid-base systems. The course will prepare the learner to write the Chemistry 30 departmental examination.
