Course description:

ALBE Career/Lifework 120/130 begins with a focus on the self; allowing individual learners to explore and assess their interests, values, and personal characteristics in relation to specific career options. Learners are given the opportunity to practice skills and acquire knowledge that will allow them to have more successful educational and work experiences. A focus on techniques for communicating effectively including a look at cultural awareness forms an important part of the course. The culminating project is an individual career path which will allow learners to use all of the knowledge and skills presented in the course to create a document that will help them chart a course for further study or work-related training.
