It is expected that the student will become extremely safety conscious and recognize the importance of using proper safety precautions and procedures.  Students are introduced to the NWT Industrial Safety Regulations, rudimentary safety practices, hand signals, emergency situations, and Fire Safety. The importance of safety cannot be over-emphasized.
