The Northwest Territory Métis Nation leadership has established a scholarship program, for NWTMN members, to support their development through education and training. The program offers up to 21 scholarships annually with a total value of $15,750. They are available to high-school, trades, college and university students. Scholarship priority will be given to students who have not received a previous scholarship from the NWTMN. The Committee recognizes academic goals and achievements, career plans, contributions to ones’ community and financial need. Special consideration is provided to those students who demonstrate their interest in a respect for others by volunteering within their community.
